What’s the problem?
Keeping up with Medicare changes is a daunting task. The rules are many and are complicated. Information overload makes it seem like the options are endless. Many may believe Medicare is free. It’s not. Late enrollment can lead to loss of insurance and penalties.
Because everyone’s health history and medications are different, the plans that best fit you may be quite different than the plans chosen by your friends and loved ones. Those that are comfortable with self-guided decision making and online Medicare enrollment can do so with online state and federal online resources and telemarketing organizations. For those in Massachusetts or New York who want an independent expert, there is North Shore Senior Healthcare.
At North Shore Senior Healthcare we take time to assess your current healthcare needs before we talk about Medicare insurance options. Using a simple worksheet, we gather information – a list of your doctors, your medications, your health status and preferences – in advance of our meeting. We do our due diligence to find the lowest cost and highest rated Medicare plans for your specific needs, and then we reach out to you to schedule a time to talk which is convenient for both of us. This allows us to be smarter and quicker when we do meet to discuss your Medicare insurance options. And since you may have changes to your health status and preferences, and because the Medicare insurance plans and their rating change, we do this every year to ensure you are always in the best plan.
Ready to Start? Simply click the simple worksheet link, complete it to the best of your ability and return it to me. If you don’t understand the question on the worksheet or don’t know the answer, just skip it. Once I have your completed worksheet, I will do my due diligence and then reach back to you to set up an appointment which is convenient for the two of us to review the results. Make sense?
The Federal government requires you and I sign a scope of appointment (SOA), before we talk about detailed Medicare plans. This does not obligate you to enroll. I believe this is the way the Federal government tries to protect you from unscrupulous insurance agents that may want to call you, knock on your door or email you and say they want to talk about Medicare Advantage insurance and/or sell you other insurance. These activities are illegal, and they could lose their insurance license. We can do this during the start of our online, our in-person meeting or please send back the signed copy in advance.
